Basement Hideaway

The only basement I ever grew up with was at my grandparents’ house, many states away, where it had been turned into a den, complete with sofas, a TV, and prime playing area for us kids. So, naturally, Molto Bene’s Basement skybox would have me decorating it in much the same manner. This time, I put it up right as Collabor88 released for January. One thing I love about the monthly sale event is that the designers featured in it do both avatar related items AND home & garden. Not just home & garden, but wonderfully made home & garden.

So enter this month Cheeky Pea, who’s put out a reading corner set for 188L, which comes with two chairs (only one is shown), the shelf & all on it (except for the radio; coffee cup moved to ottomon, but included), the rug, and the set of three pictures on the wall. And then LISP, who’s released two versions of a wooden piano (188L for music included, 88L without) in two different color packs. Animations for sitting & playing the piano are included in the bench, and the piano itself on the musical version is filled with licensed tunes.
