The Home & garden Expo 2012 is underway and offering beautiful homes and furnishings!

“Thistle Coastal Cottage” from Thistle Homes by Liz Gealach is available at The Home & Garden Expo 2012.

The Coastal Cottage is the perfect home for the edge of the ocean or lake! Shutter Doors can be left open for a breezy open home! This house has two wonderful porch areas two large rooms below and two nice sized rooms above.

The Coastal Cottage includes:

In decorating this beautiful house I used the Newly Released “Laura” Sofa from Mud Honey, available at the H&G Expo. The sofa is 8 prims, with 15 single animations and 12 couple poses, also from Mud Honey at the expo is the “Laura” chair  & Chevron Pouffe that are the “Relay for Life” items.

For every purchase made from the special vendors a percentage will be donated to the American Cancer Society!  There is a lovely outside “Dinner Party” patio set from Mud Honey that is sure to make your SL summers entertaining and the talk of the town!

For the bedroom I went for a feminine, vintage look and the “Heather” bed from Cheeky Pea was my first choice as the look fit perfectly into what I wanted. Because the front bedroom in the The Coastal Cottage is very large I broke it up with different pieces of furniture; my favorite being the “So I Dance” ballet mirror and bar from Cracked Mirror.

While this gorgeous and fun piece is not available at the H&G Expo you can pick it up from this round of “My Attic”! Weighing in at 7 prims “So I Dance” pose & prop comes with 9 poses plus mirror poses this additional piece added just the touch to make an amazing room perfect!

I used a lot of accessories from UrbanizeD “Candy Pop” Limited Edition Collection for the expo. There are so many sweet treats to choose from in this set, wall pictures that are sizable and sparkly, decorative birdcages & mannequins, flowers, hanging plants and more!
